HydraMaster Announces Winning Entries in their Facebook Page Marketing Gems Contest
Between May 1st, 2012 and July 31st, 2012 HydraMaster conducted a fun and informative contest for professional cleaners and restorers at the company’s Facebook page. The HydraMaster Marketing Gems Money in the Bank Contest challenged professional cleaners and restorers to provide all of their Facebook fans with one specific marketing idea, tip, or message that they feel has benefitted their company greatly.
Entries came from far and wide and included ideas related to growing their rug cleaning services to specifically targeting automotive dealers. Many fans of the HydraMaster Facebook paged commented on the ideas and even suggested some of their own tweaks. All of the entries remain posted on the company’s Facebook page if you would like more detail.
Judges included John Braun from Hitman Advertising, Doyle Bloss from HydraMaster, and Tracey Johnson, a marketing and graphics consultant who has been involved in the cleaning and restoration industry for many years. It was a tough decision, and the voting was close, but the first place winner (and the recipient of a $500 gift card) was Kevin Pearson of Pearson Carpet Care in Houston, Texas. The second place prize winner and recipient of a brand new spotting extractor was Patrick Ianuzzi of Best Price & Service Carpet Cleaning in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The third place winner and recipient of a $250 HydraMaster chemical package was Jason Larimore of Blue-Tek Interior Services in Lancaster, California.
